Ontario Reports Slight Increase In Lab Confirmed Covid 19 Cases As Other Public Health Indicators Remain Steady
The latest figures from the Department of Health show there were 8,354 new laboratory-confirmed cases in the past seven days, up from 7,945 the previous week and 7,419 the week before. The positivity rate, meanwhile, remained almost unchanged at 11.98%. The data show the level of virus activity remains relatively stable in Ontario, despite concerns over the return of about two million public school students earlier this month.
