I want to spend a few moments talking about some of them far left progressives who reside in Congress and, unfortunately for the country, constitute a long tail that wags the entire dog of the Democratic Party, no disrespect to the dogs.
First up is this Rashida Tlaib person. He is a member of the House Financial Services Committee who once asked who Ben Bernanke was. Yesterday, she showed her financial prowess with this exchange. Listen and cry:
TLAIB: “Yes or no, does your bank have a policy against financing new oil and gas products? Mr. Dimon?”
DIMON: Absolutely not and that would be the road to hell for America
TLAIB: “Yeah, that’s okay. Sir, you know what, everyone who got student loan relief [who] has a bank account with your bank he should probably remove his account and close his account.”

Former Reagan economist Art Laffer analyzes the state of the US economy in “Kudlow.”
Now, first up, Jamie Dimon he deserves a nobel prize in economics and, by the way, aside from that inconveniently true answer, he later said that with an insecure global energy supply, investing in natural gas is the best clean-burning approach for years to come. He also said the massive student loan cancellation plan was a bad idea. Later he also spoke about the need for economic development policies across the board in taxes and regulations and other areas. Like I said, give him a Nobel Prize in economics.
Back to Tlaib – let’s not let a bunch of completely stupid statements go to waste. What he’s basically doing here is asking the bank. This is at a time when the Fed is rushing to tighten money and a potential financial crisis is out there, but since Jamie Dimon didn’t agree with student loan bailouts for the rich and defunded fossil fuels, she doesn’t care. Let’s take down a big bank. No problem. Mind you, it’s in the Financial Services Committee. Fortunately, our banks are very well capitalized right now and will weather any currency storm.
Then there is the issue of bank lenders providing credit to our fossil fuel industry. There was so much pressure from the crowd that the mood was awakened to stop the loans. Well, wait a minute. In California, we’re not going to have gas cars in 10 years, but if you happen to own an electric vehicle right now, you’re not allowed to recharge the battery. Because this? Because there is not enough current. Because this? Because they are shutting down fossil fuels, especially natural gas, but keep going. Rashida Tlaib wants banks to do her far-left bidding by preventing loans to natural gas producers. Makes sense?
I guess you have to be a certain kind of person, with a certain kind of weird mind, to understand something like that or I would suggest, these are all just really stupid ideas. Here’s another crazy idea: inside the Biden administration, all these agencies and departments are creating ESG czars basically to wake up the entire federal government with these crazy net zero carbon ideas and so on, which exact laws or congressional appropriations define that every Federal agency must have an ESG czar? I am not aware of any appropriation.
I remember the disinformation czar at DHS, but they folded amid massive criticism and the threat of defunding the entire department. These ESG divisions in Biden’s world are growing like hideous weeds. Someone has to cut them. Republicans should call them, but back to Ms. Tlaib. I’m not done with her. A few days ago he said at a conference this, listen:
“I want you all to know that among progressives it has become clear that you cannot claim to hold progressive values but support the apartheid government of Israel, and we will continue to push back and no longer accept this idea that you are progressive, except Philistine.”
Israel? Policy of racial segregation; Really?

Do you know how many Arabs live in Israel? The answer is plenty, a large part of the population. Oh, by the way, Israel is one of the largest democracies in the world and also, by the way, Rashida Tlaib is an antisemite of the first order. So much for progressive ideas among progressives in the Democratic Party. Let’s end fossil fuels, end electricity, promote jogging and hate Israel, which, by the way, is probably our staunchest ally in the entire world.
Wait one more moment. Speaking of progressives, here’s AOC for children, immigration, rich people, and capitalism. It is a beauty. Listen and cry to this:
“There are many countries that are really suffering because young people, under the burdens of capitalism and living under a society that increasingly concentrates wealth among the rich, are not having children or not having children at the same time. and we really need immigrant populations to help balance things out.”
Well, let me get this straight. The burdens of capitalism create too many rich people. Well, yes, and, by the way, capitalism creates enormous prosperity for all people: the middle class, blue-collar workers, minorities. This is what we learned after the Trump tax cuts or after the Reagan tax cuts or after the JFK tax cuts. Factoids show that a rising tide lifts all boats when you provide opportunity for everyone, but it gets even better with the AOC, because it wants—wait for it—more illegal immigrants to fill its so-called population gap.
I am waiting. This year we are headed for 3 million illegals, maybe more. How much more can this country take—in a year with all the drugs, sex trafficking, and inhumane conditions?

Or does the AOC really believe Joe Biden when he says the borders are closed, so he would like to open them? There are very few people outside the White House who actually believe this twisted logic, but in reality it’s just another series of completely irresponsible and unserious statements from far-left progressives in the Democratic Party.
These are not serious people. These people don’t root for America, but these are the people who run it Democratic Party at this time and therefore I pray that the cavalry will come.
