Although Apple often releases software updates after the phone’s launch due to bugs that appear, several issues with the new iPhones have been widely discussed on social media and in reports. It’s worth noting that iOS 16.0.2 fixes an issue with camera shake in third-party apps like Snapchat and TikTok, in which the camera would make an audible noise when trying to focus. It also fixes an issue with transferring data from an old iPhone to an iPhone 14. In such transfers, the screen on the new device would sometimes go completely black, requiring a hard reset. Another fix from Apple is a pop-up that kept warning users that they were copying and pasting, which was initially thought to be a security feature, but was later discovered to be a bug. The software changelog also mentions that Apple fixed a speech issue as well as a touch response issue on older devices. IOS 16.0.2 is available for download now. It can be installed via Settings > General > Software Update. WATCH: Apple launches iPhone 14
