The quake struck at 1:19 a.m. Thursday near the epicenter of the 7.6-magnitude quake that struck three days earlier in the western state of Michoacán. He was also charged in two deaths. Monday’s strongest earthquake was the third major earthquake to hit on September 19 – in 1985, 2017 and now 2022. The 2017 and 2022 September 19 earthquakes came very shortly after the annual earthquake drill held every September 19 for to commemorate the disaster that killed in 1985 approximately 9,500 people.
