The source, who was not authorized to speak officially, said Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is “likely” to drop the vaccination requirement on Sept. 30. The Globe and Mail newspaper reported the news earlier Tuesday. Canada will also abandon random same-day testing for coronavirus and make it optional to use the ArriveCAN app, where travelers will have to upload proof of vaccination, the source said.
