Using Nvidia’s new Ada Lovelace architecture, which uses third-generation DLSS, the first GPU is the GeForce RTX 4090, which includes 24GB of G6X memory and is claimed to be two to four times faster than the previous RTX 3090 Ti Nvidia’s flagship GPU. The RTX 4090 will cost $1599 and will be released on October 12th. Nvidia’s GTC 2022 Keynote: All Announced The RTX 4080 was also announced and includes two memory configurations: 12GB and 16GB. The RTX 4080 is claimed to be two to four times faster than the RTX 3080 Ti. While no release date was given for the RTX 4080 GPUs, Nvidia says the cards will be released sometime in November. The RTX 4080 with 12GB of G6X memory will cost $899, while the 16GB variant will cost $1,199. During the presentation, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang went into extensive detail about the RTX 40’s new graphics architecture. Huang notes that the Ada architecture features third-generation RTX, which has new features including detection real-time routing as well as the third generation Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS). DLSS 3 is reportedly capable of generating additional frames and boosting game performance by up to two times.
