A pair of men riding ATVs found the remains of a black man and a white woman around 3 a.m. Saturday, authorities said. “Through our ongoing investigation, we have information indicating that the two individuals located yesterday on Buckhorn Road are Lyric Woods, 14, and Devin Clark, 18,” Sheriff Charles Blackwood said in a statement. “Family members reported Lyric missing Saturday afternoon to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. The deputy filed a missing person report with the National Crime Information Center index (NCIC) at 3:44 p.m. The family of Devin Clark contacted the Mebane Police Department on Sunday with concerns about his whereabouts. An officer brought him into NCIC at approximately 1:42 p.m.” The sheriff previously said both victims appeared to be under the age of 20 and may have been killed in a possible homicide.
