“Police responded to a 911 call at approximately 12:20 (p.m.) regarding what appeared to be a body in the lake. Upon arrival one person was found deceased,” said spokesman Const. Sandasha Bough said on stage. A person in a black shirt and green pants was seen lying on the embankment. The Major Crime Unit is investigating, but few details are available. It is not yet clear if the death is suspicious, and police could not share the age or gender of the person found. Investigators could soon survey the edge of the lake just west of Jackson Road. It is connected to Cudmore Crescent, a suburban road, by a short paved path. Bough urged anyone with information to contact London police at (519) 661-5670.
